Belt Range : MERCURY RUBBER Beltings Conveyor are designed conforming to current national and international practice. It meets practically all type of requirements that may arise in the transportation of materials. MERCURY RUBBER Conveyor Beltings are made by using high strength, pre-stretched fabrics, rubberized with the best quality of rubber compounds to withstand varying weather conditions, material impacts & other arduous service conditions, Cover rubber formulation have been designed for better tear, cut, heat, oil jam , abrasion resistance to meet severe service conditions. Special anti-mildew inhibiting agent is incorporated i the rubber compounds applied to Cotton belting fabric for protection of the fabric against mildew through out the life of the belt. WIDTH: 300 mm to 1600 mm in steps of 50 mm. LENGTH: Open or Endless to suit customer's requirements. FABRICS: MERCURY RUBBER Beltings are manufactured with the following different fabrics. COTTON/COTTON FABRIC : Cotton/Cotton
!5 the conventional fabric used in the range of applications. The bonding
between the Rubber Compound & the Cotton Cotton Fabric is good &
it provides better fastener holding capacity. It is susceptible to mildew
attack &gives relatively 101 tensile strength, impact resistance,
chemical resistance The Belt weights are higher. The Cotton Cotton fabric
used are 280z, 320z, 360z, 420z & 480z COTTON/NYLON
FABRIC : The Belts with Cotton Nylon fabric are resistant to longitudinal tearing & damage due to Edge turn up. The belt weights are lower. The belts troughs more in service resulting in high carrying capacity. The Cotton Nylon Fabrics used are CN 40, CN 50, CN 60, CN 70,CN 75, CN 80, CN 90, CN 100, CN 105, CN 130 & CN 175. The Belts with Synthetic fabrics have been designed to provide premium belts with maximum allowable working tension. The Synthetic belts ,have a much higher tensile strength with lower Belt weight. It is resistant to microbiological attack & moisture. The impact resistance is very high. It has-excellent flexibility& allows the use of deep troughing idlers which increases the carrying capacity tremendously. It is suitable for conveying materials over long distances. The bond between the cover & fabric plies is considerably higher. The reduced number of plies in Synthetic fabric Belts & the flexibility of interply layer of skim Compound offers greater flexibility & flex life of the belt. For these reasons, the smaller pulley diameter can be used. No. of Plies : MERCURY RUBBER Beltings are offered in 2 to 8 fabric Ply construction. |
